Kaytie Pickett, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group in the Jackson office, has started her term as the 2022–2023 President of the Capital Area Bar Association (CABA) after her election by the CABA Board of Directors. Kaytie served as President-Elect for the 2021–2022 term and succeeds Jones Walker partner Clarence Webster. CABA is a voluntary bar association that financially supports pro-bono services, connects members with media and networking opportunities, promotes legal professionalism, and supports the independence of the Mississippi state and federal judiciary.
