Rudolph R. Ramelli, a partner in the firm's Tax & Estates Practice Group, recently assumed the position of Chair of the Section of Taxation of the American Bar Association ("ABA"). Mr. Ramelli served as Chair-Elect for one year before beginning the role of Chair this month. Mr. Ramelli has a long history with the ABA Section of Taxation, having previously served as Vice Chair – Administration and on the Membership and Marketing Committee. The ABA Section of Taxation was established in 1921 as a five-person ABA Special Committee on Internal Revenue and Its Means of Collection. Now, the Section of Taxation has more than 22,000 members.
