Jones Walker LLP announced today that Rose S. Sher has joined the firm as special counsel in the Tax Practice Group and on the trust & estates team.
Rose practices in the areas of estate planning and estate administration. She is a board-certified estate planning and administration specialist, certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization.
She also earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) professional designation from The American College of Financial Services. Rose is committed to helping clients develop and implement philanthropic programs to reach their charitable objectives while simultaneously meeting their estate planning and management goals.
Prior to going into private practice, Rose served as a law clerk for two years to the Honorable Brian A. Jackson, chief judge of the US District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana.
Rose earned her BA in Print Journalism from the University of Southern California in 2006 and her JD from Tulane University in 2010. She is admitted to practice in Louisiana.
