Graham Ryan, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group, presented webinars to a national audience on business contact disputes arising from the coronavirus pandemic for the Federal Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association. The presentations focused on how the pandemic affects businesses’ contractual rights and obligations, and how businesses should analyze their contractual force majeure provisions. The discussion also included how courts have applied force majeure, and tips for drafting contracts. Graham serves on Jones Walker’s COVID-19 force majeure task force and maintains an active legal practice representing businesses in contract disputes in federal and state courts.
