Thomas B. Shepherd III, a partner in the Jackson office and co-leader of the firm's Gaming team, was inducted by the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) as a Counselor of the organization on May 14, 2018. IAGA President Laura McAllister Cox announced the induction at the International Gaming Summit in Macau, China. IAGA appoints Counselors to support the organization’s programs, preserve the experience of the members, and stimulate the interest of other executives in the gaming industry. Mr. Shepherd served as President of the IAGA in 2013 – 2014, having previously served as an officer and member of the Board of Trustees since 2001.

 

“I am pleased and humbled by my selection as a Counselor, particularly by being inducted this year with Bill Curran, the first chairman of the International Association of Gaming Regulators,” said Mr. Shepherd. “IAGA has been an important part of the gaming industry for many years, and I look forward to continuing my work with IAGA as a Counselor.”
