Thomas B. Shepherd III, a partner in the firm’s Business and Commercial Transactions Practice Group in the Jackson office, presented, “Ethics in the Gaming Industry,” at the American Bar Association’s, Gaming Law Minefield National Institute on February 14-15, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa. At this CLE National Institute, revolutionary legal, regulatory, and ethical issues were discussed confronting both commercial and Native American gaming. Gaming law attorneys, compliance officers, Native American leaders, regulators, and legislators were given the opportunity to share valuable insights about the ever-changing field of gaming.
