Edward R. Shohat, special counsel in the Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and a member of the Corporate Compliance & White Collar Defense Team in the Miami office, was mentioned in the article titled, "When There's No Smoking Gun," published by the Miami Herald on August 19. Mr. Shohat was praised for his work representing Miami Lakes Mayor Michael Pizzi in the federal corruption trial that attracted much attention from the Florida media. Mayor Pizzi was found not guilty on all counts.
