John Fletcher, a partner on the state and local tax team in the Jackson office, participated as a panelist at the COST Intermediate/Advanced State Income Tax School on May 21, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia. In his presentation “Special Issues in Appointment Allocation,” John guided students through current state tax apportionment schemes with emphasis on market-based sourcing and its iterations, and he offered advice for applying rules to companies and clients.
