Adam Stone, a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group, and Kaytie M. Pickett, an associate in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group, both in the Jackson office, recently prevailed on appeal before the Mississippi Supreme Court in Inn by the Sea Homeowner's Association, Inc. v. SeaInn, LLC et al. The case involved defective construction claims on a condominium on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. After Mr. Stone successfully struck the plaintiff's experts and obtained summary judgment at the trial level, Ms. Pickett responded to the plaintiff's appeal. The Mississippi Supreme Court unanimously affirmed the trial court's ruling.
