Alysse McLoughlin and Chris Lutz, partners on the state and local tax team, participated in the NYU 44th Institute on State and Local Taxation, held in New York, New York, on December 8-9, 2025. Alysse served as the program co-chair for the event. Chris presented on "The Intersection of Important International Issues" panel, in which panelists addressed corporate issues, such as income tax treatment of "80/20" companies, worldwide reporting, the inclusion formerly known as GILTI, and the sales tax treatment of an ever-growing number of tariffs. The NYU 44th Annual Institute on State and Local Taxation is designed to deliver high-level updates, practical advice, and in-depth analysis of the latest developments and current issues in all areas of state and local taxation.
