Nadia de la Houssaye, a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group, will be presenting at the upcoming Perspectives: The Medical Malpractice Journey seminar hosted by the Louisiana State Bar Association on Friday, September 28, 2012. She will be presenting during the session titled, "The Winding Road to Justice: the Medical Review Panel, Trial and the Patient's Compensation Fund." This event will also include discussions on initial case evaluation, claim filing, discovery trial, private versus state health care providers, State Office of Risk Management's claim evaluation considerations, products liability issues and the learned intermediary doctrine, and the role of the attorney chair on the medical review panel.
