Jeff Tillery, partner and co-leader of the firm’s maritime litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution team, and Sara Kuebel, an associate in the Maritime Practice Group, led a mock trial event hosted by Lloyd’s Market Association on September 30, 2022, in London. The 150 audience members witnessed arguments to a live jury empaneled by Zoom in Houston, Texas, and an argument for a motion to a judge at Lloyd’s of London Old library led by Jeff and Sara. Attendees from all facets of the maritime insurance sector left with an overview of the US mock trial process, participated in a mock trial argument, and received insights on maritime personal injury suits and insurance claims.
