The US Department of Labor (DOL) recently issued guidance and updated model Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) continuation coverage notices. The new guidance supersedes prior guidance and model notices. The DOL considers the use of the updated model notices available on its website to constitute good faith compliance with detailed notice content requirements of COBRA. Continue reading >
