Jones Walker partner R. Patrick Vance was elected to the Board of Directors of the American College of Bankruptcy Foundation at its March 14, 2008 annual meeting in Washington, D.C.  The Foundation’s missions, focused in the areas of bankruptcy and insolvency, include a scholarship and fostering the institution and maintenance of legal aid facilities for the indigent.  Vance also serves on the Board of Directors of the American College of Bankruptcy.
