R. Patrick Vance, a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the New Orleans office, was re-elected Chairman of the Board by the Board of Directors of Southeast Louisiana Legal Services at its February 12, 2014, meeting. Southeast Louisiana Legal Services is Louisiana's largest non-profit provider of free civil legal aid. Offices in Baton Rouge, Covington, Hammond, Harvey, Houma, and New Orleans cover a 22-parish service area, handling a range of issues spanning family, housing, foreclosure, children in need of care, public benefits, consumer, and tax, among others.
