Jones Walker LLP is proud to announce that Profiles in Diversity Journal named Raedtha A. Vasquez, a partner in the firm’s Baton Rouge office, to the 2018 “Women Worth Watching” list. Mrs. Vasquez joins the list of outstanding women who were selected as the 2018 winners. Profiles in Diversity Journal annually highlights influential women nationwide from all industry sectors. The prestigious publication honors and profiles emerging women for their outstanding commitments and achievements, both professionally and personally. This year’s list features women who represent their companies and organizations by leading business units, driving new markets, launching new ventures, and developing the next generation of female leaders. 

 

Mrs. Vasquez, who is currently serving as the board chair for the Friends of Louisiana Public Broadcasting, is also a member of Louisiana State University’s National Diversity Advisory Board, and works closely with the firm’s diversity committee. She was named a Baton Rouge Business Report "Forty Under 40" winner in 2010, and is a graduate of the Baton Rouge Area Leadership program, the Council for a Better Louisiana’s Leadership Louisiana, and recently completed the Baton Rouge Business Report Leadership Academy. 

 

Jones Walker LLP has previously celebrated several “Women Worth Watching” winners across the firm. In 2017, Baton Rouge partner Dionne N. Rousseau and Houston partner Lara D. Pringle were honored. In 2016, the publication honored Marjorie McKeithen, a partner in the New Orleans office and co-chair of the firm’s Energy Industry Team. The 2015 recipient was Kimberly Lewis Robinson, former Jones Walker partner and current Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Revenue.
