Grady Hurley, a partner in the Maritime Practice Group and co-leader of the maritime litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution team, and Abby Weiland, an associate in the Maritime Practice Group, authored the article “Vessel Classification and the Offshore Wind Industry” featured in the Marine Log November issue. Grady and Abby give an overview of the various special-purpose vessels being used in the offshore wind and energy industry and the importance of understanding what is and is not a vessel to ensure compliance with the corresponding regulations and understand the insurance implications.
