Maritime partner Pat Veters is secretary of the board of directors of the YMCA of Greater New Orleans. The YMCA, located in over 120 countries worldwide, has been dedicated to helping people of all ages reach their potential for nearly 150 years. The YMCA of Greater New Orleans is a nonprofit organization which services the community in the areas of child care, educational services, health and fitness. Founded in 1852, the YMCA of Greater New Orleans is the sixth oldest Y in the United States and will celebrate 150 years of service to the New Orleans community this year.
