William M. Backstrom, Jr. and Jesse R. Adams, III, both partners in the firm’s Tax & Estates Practice Group in the New Orleans office, will speak at the Houston Chapter of the Tax Executive Institute’s (TEI) 2015 Tax School on May 6, 2015. Their session, "What is Cooking in State Income Taxation with a Dash of Ethics," discussed recent developments in state taxation centering on key jurisdictions and what they mean to the corporate tax practitioner. TEI is a professional organization of business executives who are responsible for taxation matters on an administrative or policy-making level, or whose work is otherwise primarily concerned with the problems of business taxation.
