Partner Myla R. Reizen and associate Kathleen A. Harrison authored an article titled “CMS Issues Guidance on Fraud and Abuse Prevention Measures,” published in What’s New in Health Care 2010. In the article Ms. Reizen and Ms. Harrison discuss the key actions the Centers for Medicare and Medical Services (CMS) have taken to implement provisions of the health care reform law passed in March 2010. The article also highlights some of the proposed measures that are designed to provide governmental health care programs increased protection from fraud and abuse.
