Paul Woodall, a partner in the Corporate Practice Group in Birmingham, and Whit Rayner, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group in Jackson, presented at the 2022 Municipal Spring Law Conference on April 1, 2022 in Birmingham. Woodall presented "Trademark Issues for Municipal Lawyers," which focused on the myriad of ways in which municipalities are utilizing federal trademark registrations to promote tourism and municipal services. Rayner presented "Municipality Battle Ground: Trade Secrets Versus Public Records", which focused on the intersection between the open records act and trade secret laws, particularly in the context of public bids.
