On May 12, general business and energy partner, Scott Zander, was nominated to the board of directors of the World Affairs Council of New Orleans. The World Affairs Council of New Orleans provides community leadership to promote and foster international relations through educational and cultural/social forums with a commitment to cultural diversity and inclusive fellowship. Founded in 1944, the WAC/N.O. is a nonprofit, nonpartisan educational organization dedicated to presenting diverse views on a variety of international topics. The WAC/N.O. is affiliated with the over 80 councils nationwide in the World Affairs Councils of America (WACA) system.
