Allison Bell is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group, where she focuses on mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions, joint ventures, and other complex corporate matters.


Allison represents public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and other investors in significant transactions across numerous industries, including infrastructure, construction, transportation, insurance, food and beverage (including protein-based food), and healthcare. Her cross-sector experience enables her to anticipate client-, market-, and jurisdiction-specific issues and develop solutions that facilitate the successful execution of high-profile, mission-critical transactions.

Drawing on her more than 25 years in legal practice, Allison advises clients on the full range of transactional matters, including acquisitions and divestitures, strategic investments, recapitalizations, carve-outs, and sophisticated business combinations. Her industry experience is particularly valuable where transactions involve regulated businesses, substantial operational assets, complex contractual relationships, and other considerations that demand close coordination of legal, commercial, and strategic objectives. Her practice at Jones Walker enables her to quickly assemble cross-disciplinary, matter-specific teams and coordinate the work of experienced attorneys with the skills needed to deliver practical and cost-effective solutions.

Allison has substantial experience structuring and negotiating complex joint ventures and strategic affiliations, including transactions involving shared ownership and governance, sophisticated economic arrangements, management and operational rights, and long-term commercial relationships. She works closely with clients to develop transaction structures that appropriately balance control, economics, risk allocation, and the parties’ broader strategic objectives.
