Amelie Bond is an associate in the Tax Practice Group and a member of the trusts and estates team.
Amelie focuses her practice on estate and tax planning for high net worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses. Additionally, she works with the charitable gift planning associated with these families and organizations, including substantial private foundations.
Amelie holds an LLM in taxation from New York University School of Law, where she was awarded the McDermott, Will & Emery Scholarship, the Gary E. Snyder Scholarship, and the Dean’s Graduate Award. She earned her JD from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she received the Faculty Award for “Graduating Senior with the Highest GPA” and was a William L. Crowe Scholar and Dean’s Scholar. Amelie received the Lanasa Provident Law Scholarship and served as the casenote and comment editor for the Loyola Law Review. She also served as a research assistant for Professor Monica Hof Wallace.
Amelie is also a certified public accountant.
