Camille Wharton is an associate in the Government Relations practice group, where she helps clients navigate the political landscape.
Camille works with clients on regulatory and legislative challenges, protecting their interests and investments at the state and local level. She also has experience handling environmental and toxic tort litigation, oil and gas, construction, and other property disputes.
While earning her law degree, Camille completed a judicial externship for The Honorable John W. deGravelles at the US District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. She was an associate on the Louisiana Law Review, participated in the Trial Advocacy Program, and received several scholarships and awards in recognition of her academic achievements. Camille was inducted into the Order of the Coif for graduating in the top 10% of her class.
Prior to starting law school, Camille served as a congressional intern for Senator Bill Cassidy in Washington, DC. She also has served as a Louisiana House of Representatives Committee Clerk.
