Christopher Hernandez is an associate in the Maritime Practice Group, where he focuses on maritime litigation and commercial disputes.
Christopher is a member of the maritime litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution team, with experience in personal injury, property damage, products liability, and commercial disputes in the cruise line, pleasure boat, and commercial transport industries.
While pursuing his juris doctor, Christopher distinguished himself through involvement in competitive advocacy and practical litigation training. He was a member of the nationally ranked Charles C. Papy, Jr., Moot Court Board and participated in a national appellate advocacy competition. Additionally, he was part of the Yvette Ostolaza Trial Team and participated in the Litigation Skills Program, further enhancing his courtroom advocacy and trial preparation skills.
During law school, Christopher served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan of the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He conducted legal research and analysis in support of the court’s appellate review. Christopher spent his final year of law school as a law clerk at a prominent boutique commercial litigation firm, working alongside experienced litigators on complex litigation matters. He is bilingual and engaged in several local civic organizations.
