David Forestner is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group and a member of the insurance coverage team. David focuses his practice on litigation and arbitration for a variety of disputes, including high-exposure tort litigation, insurance coverage, and commercial ownership disputes.

David has represented clients successfully in state and federal courts and in arbitrations nationwide in a variety of industries, including insurance and other financial products, nursing homes and healthcare, professional negligence, homeowners associations, security, construction, waste disposal, mining, land use, and zoning.

David’s experience extends to litigating coverage issues in state and federal courts throughout the country and often involves representing clients in directors and officers insurance coverage litigation concerning towers of coverage exceeding $80 million. He currently represents insureds in coverage disputes and manages a number of cases where he is advising on strategies and theories to maximize insurance coverage.

While attending law school, David served as a claims manager handling hundreds of medical malpractice claims in South Florida for a professional liability insurer. After earning his law degree, he returned to Atlanta to work for an AmLaw 200 law firm handling professional liability coverage actions and construction and architect coverage disputes.
