Emily Vorhoff is an associate and a member of the Corporate Practice Group and the Healthcare Industry Team, where she focuses on corporate finance and related matters.
Emily represents private and public companies, banks, borrowers, venture capital firms, startups, and individual investors in a wide variety of corporate finance matters and capital-markets transactions across numerous industries. She draws on her personal experience as a certified public accountant and an entrepreneur and her professional background in strategic planning to provide effective advice that helps clients increase the value of their companies, pursue growth, and achieve strategic objectives.
Emily understands the goals of lenders, borrowers, and investors and helps her clients protect and pursue their unique interests while finding common ground with other parties to a transaction. Emily structures, negotiates, and documents senior, subordinated, secured, and unsecured syndicated financial and lending transactions; advises on credit and equity financing, including angel, venture capital, and other growth-equity transactions; and handles a range of asset-based debt financings and refinancings, working-capital and credit facilities, securitization transactions and other financing and hedging arrangements.
In addition to her work in other sectors, Emily has specific experience in the healthcare arena. She has helped hospitals, health systems, providers, startup companies, and private equity investors navigate the evolving regulatory landscape, identify and acquire working capital, and negotiate corporate and commercial contracts.
