Jeffery Sanches is an associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group. He helps clients address employment disputes and navigate the complexities of labor and employment law.
Jeff’s experience includes representing clients in all aspects of complex litigation, including drafting complaints, answers, settlement agreements, mediation statements, and other pleadings and motions; arguing motions at hearings; and negotiating with opposing parties. Prior to joining Jones Walker, Jeff clerked for the Honorable Benjamin A. Kahn of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina for two years. During his judicial clerkship, he also spoke on panels in North Carolina educating fellow attorneys on recent developments in the law.
During law school, Jeff served on the editorial board of the University of Richmond Law Review, as the treasurer of the esteemed McNeill Law Society, and as a teaching assistant in Negotiations and Interviewing and Counseling. He also received two CALI Awards for Excellence in Torts and Excellence in Mergers & Acquisitions, as well as the Faculty Award for Excellence in the Field of Bankruptcy.
