Katie Beth Simmons is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group. Her practice focuses on a broad range of transactional and general business matters. She advises clients on entity formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions, representing both companies and financial institutions across a variety of industries.
Katie Beth also advises clients on transactions involving commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development matters. She regularly assists with the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, easements, and other commercial contracts related to real estate and business operations.
Her experience includes representing borrowers and lenders in financing transactions secured by real property and other business assets, as well as assisting developers, property owners, landlords, and tenants in connection with the ownership and operation of commercial assets such as shopping centers, recreational and hunting land, and other real estate investments.
Katie Beth earned her JD, summa cum laude, from Mississippi College School of Law, where she was a member of the Mississippi College Law Review.
