Lauren is a highly experienced and respected litigator who handles various litigation, pre-litigation, arbitration, and appellate matters. She has deftly defended claims involving catastrophic injury or death and complex international law, including the Death on the High Seas Act and the Athens Convention.

In her maritime practice, Lauren has represented and counseled the world’s largest cruise lines and shipping companies and their underwriters. She regularly defends matters involving claims for Jones Act negligence, unseaworthiness, maintenance and cure, and maritime personal injury.

In addition to her maritime litigation practice, Lauren handles general litigation disputes, including contract disputes, insurance claims, non-maritime personal injury claims, and white collar defense. Lauren also has extensive appellate experience in both state and federal appeals, both civil and criminal in nature.
