Mark Eisenbraun is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group, where he focuses on equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and capital restructurings for private and public companies.
Mark brings more than three decades of experience advising clients on corporate, securities, and transactional matters. His practice spans the full range of equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and capital restructurings, with particular attention to private and public market transactions. He has counseled publicly traded companies, middle-market enterprises preparing for growth capital or exit, and established businesses across numerous economic sectors, including energy, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and distribution.
Mark’s counsel is distinguished by his business-first perspective, which is informed by his significant experience outside the practice of law. Before joining Jones Walker, he cofounded his own law firm and, before that, served as chief operating officer of a clothing manufacturer. In an earlier chapter of his life, Mark completed culinary school and worked professionally as a baker and was a Rhodes Scholar. These varied roles have given him a concrete understanding of operational structure, capital allocation, and the strategic planning demanded by companies at every stage of growth and maturity. As a result, clients navigating significant transactions or restructurings turn to him not only for his legal acumen but also for his judgment, grounded in the practical realities of running a business.
