From thoroughbred syndications and bloodstock transactions to complex regulatory matters and USEF/FEI licensing, we provide comprehensive support at every step. Our attorneys have significant experience drafting and negotiating a range of key agreements, including syndications, bills of sale, boarding and training agreements, liability waivers, competition licenses, and related contractual matters.

We regularly advise clients on racing partnerships, stallion and sport horse syndicate formation, equine lending, liability protection, and facility operations. Our work also extends to equine-related real estate transactions, where we guide clients through the purchase, sale, and development of horse farms and training facilities. We also have a deep bench of litigators who are experienced in equine disputes and practice in federal and state courts across the country. Among other matters, our litigators have handled disputes involving horsemen’s groups, licensing, and veterinary medications, and they regularly represent clients before racing commissions and hearing committees, including the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority (HISA), as well as in trials and appeals.
