The November 2009 edition of 10/12 Magazine featured a story titled "The Super Committee," profiling the Southeast Super-Region Committee, which comprises 26 area business leaders. The group, known as the SRC, is made up of 13 representatives from the Greater New Orleans area and 13 representatives from the Greater Baton Rouge area. Members convene six times per year to discuss issues of common interest to the two metropolitan areas, mostly focusing on joint economic development initiatives and ideas as well as other business matters. Jones Walker's Managing Partner, William H. Hines, is a member of the New Orleans section of the committee, while partner Scott D. Chenevert serves as one of the representatives of Baton Rouge. Other group members include some of the I-10/I-12 corridor's most influential executives and community leaders.
