Topics discussed included an overview of Mississippi bankruptcy judges and districts, presumptive interest rate for unsecured creditors in Chapter 13 cases, cautions for creditors filing proofs of claim, proposed amendments to local bankruptcy rules, transfer fees now being charged for claim transfers, trustee notices of “cure” at the end of Chapter 13 cases, and an update on the Fifth Circuit.
