At a news conference held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, Bradley R. Byrne, partner in the firm’s Business & Commercial Transactions Practice Group, unveiled the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce’s new "Blueprint for a Better Tomorrow" economic development strategy. The Eastern Shore area includes the cities of Daphne, Fairhope, and Spanish Fort located in Baldwin County, Alabama. In his speech, Mr. Byrne, who serves as the vice chairman of the chamber board’s economic development council, outlined four areas of concentration in the new plan: (1) aerospace and high-tech precision manufacturing; (2) medical; (3) film, music, and entertainment; and (4) IT and technical support centers.
