The article titled, "Generic Pharmaceutical Liability: Challenges and Changes," discusses the June 23, 2011, U.S. Supreme Court ruling in PLIVA Inc. v. Mensing that found that the U.S. Food & Drug Administration labeling regulations preempt state law failure-to-warn claims and provide generic drug manufacturers with significant protection against failure-to-warn cases.
