Adam Matasar, a partner in the Corporate Practice Group in the New Orleans office, presented to the Idea Village during IDEAinstitute on August 29, 2024. His presentation, "Corporate Law Considerations for Start-Ups and their Founders," discussed the different structures founders utilize when starting a business, and the implications of each structure when raising capital or exiting. The Idea Village is a New Orleans based nonprofit dedicated to supporting innovative regional startups and local entrepreneurs.
