Mark T. Davis, a partner in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group, and Jeffrey R. Barber, a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group, both in the Jackson office, participated as speakers at a seminar sponsored by the University of Mississippi's Division of Outreach and Continuing Education on July 11. The seminar titled, "Foreclosure Law," covered a range of topics including foreclosure law and procedure, lender liability, and bankruptcy effects. Mr. Barber presented, "Obtaining Possession of Leasehold Premises," and Mr. Davis spoke on the foreclosure of construction loans.
