Emily Degan, an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the New Orleans office, was nominated to serve as a junior member of the Louisiana State Law Institute's Council for the 2023 term. As an honor graduate of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Emily was one of three graduates nominated by the dean of her alma mater. The Louisiana State Law Institute is a legal research agency that promotes the clarification of Louisiana law and administration of justice through scholarly and scientific work.
