"Don’t Discard That Expired Form Just Yet"

You may or may not have noticed that Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, expired August 31, 2019. You should be checking the expiration date in the top right corner to make sure you’re using the current version of the form. Use of an outdated form can result in fines. Fear not, at least for now. United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has advised that employers should continue to use the expired Form I-9 until further notice. Updates will be released on I-9 Central, and we will be sure to let you know when a new form is released and about any significant changes. Continue reading >
