Mr. Duncan is one of only thirteen gaming attorneys from the United States listed by Chambers & Partners as a notable practitioner in the area of Gaming & Gambling. Commentators in the market noted that Mr. Duncan has "a top-notch brain for the law." The publication also notes Mr. Duncan's maritime practice and his broad client base in the gaming industry.

In addition to being listed in Chambers Global Guide, Mr. Duncan has also been recognized annually since 2005 in "Chambers USA – America's Leading Lawyers for Business" in the area of Gaming & Licensing, and listed in The Best Lawyers in America® (Copyright Woodward/White, Inc., Aiken, SC) in both Gaming Law and Maritime Law. Mr. Duncan serves as the head of the firm's gaming practice and is a member of the International Association of Gaming Attorneys. Notably, he was recently elected Vice President of the International Masters of Gaming Law.
