Rich Tyler, a partner on the Construction Industry Team, presented at the 2023 American Arbitration Association Construction Conference in Santa Monica, California. Rich served as a panelist for "Ethics Issues with Virtual Hearings and Document Production in Arbitral Proceedings," and his remarks focused on technical competence under ABA Model Rule 1.1 and ethical issues arising out of the use of Artificial Intelligence chatbots. Rich is a member of the governing Council of the American Arbitration Association and International Centre for Dispute Resolution, and he is co-chair of the Council's National Construction Dispute Resolution Committee.
