Brehm will present at the upcoming Green Legal Matters Conference in New Orleans, October 13–15, 2010, and will present "Sustainability, Greenwashing, and the Need for Remediation," as well as "Greenhouse Gas Law: Regulation & Solar, Geothermal, and Energy Districts."

The Green Legal Matters Conference is the first annual "green" legal symposium, and focuses on several topics relevant to those interested in building a green legal practice or gaining an understanding of the new green building rating systems and other top trends in the green legal field. In addition, speakers will address the potential legal issues resulting from recently implemented environmental legislation and regulations, particularly with regard to green buildings. Conference topics include:

• Critical concepts from green/legal industry visionaries
• Mitigating environmental risk
• Defending litigation related to environmental issues
• Complying with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other regulatory bodies
