On June 19, 2008, Marc C. Hebert, a partner at Jones Walker and a member of the board of the Mississippi Valley Trade & Transport Council, was appointed by U.S. Trade Representative Susan Schwab and Secretary of Commerce Carlos Guiterrez to serve on the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Customs Matters and Trade Facilitation (ITAC 14).  As a member of the committee, he will represent the private sector in working with U.S. federal agencies in the development and implementation of U.S. trade policy.
