William W. Horton, a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Transactions Practice Group and member of the Health Care Team, was selected as Chair-Elect of the American Bar Association ("ABA") Health Law Section for 2014–2015 at the 2014 Annual Meeting of the ABA held on August 8-10, in Boston, Massachusetts. As Chair-Elect, Mr. Horton will automatically become Chair of the Health Law Section at the ABA's 2015 Annual Meeting. With over 10,500 members from all across the United States, the Health Law Section is the voice of the national health law bar within the ABA. Mr. Horton will be the first Alabama lawyer to serve as Chair of the Health Law Section since its founding in 1995.
