William W. Horton, a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Transactions Practice Group and member of the Healthcare team in the Birmingham office, will present at the American Health Lawyers Association's In-House Counsel Program. The event, targeted towards in-house counsel at healthcare organizations will be held June 28, 2015, in Washington, DC. Mr. Horton's presentation, "DIY FMV: When is an Internal Valuation Enough?" will cover how in transactions with referring physicians, organizations can develop reliable fair market value analyses that will stand up to government scrutiny without using an outside valuation expert.
