Jones Walker announced today that the firm has appointed partner Chris Johnsen as the head of the firm's Washington, DC office, effective January 1, 2023. Chris is a partner in the Government Relations Practice Group and previously served as a member of the firm's board of directors for many years. Since opening the firm's Washington, DC, office in 1990 and being admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 1991, Chris has built a strong team of government relations professionals who represent clients in many different industries. Over the years, Chris has been deeply involved in numerous legislative matters affecting the maritime industry.
