Jones Walker's Washington, DC office located on Capitol Hill has grown quickly since its opening in 1990. Today we represent local, national, and international clients with interests in legislation before Congress or in rules, regulations, or administrative orders issued by federal departments, agencies, and commissions. In addition to the strong government relations practice, the office serves banking, insurance, financial services, and business clients in national and international corporate and litigation matters. The office also focuses on a maritime law practice.

In 1999, Jones Walker formed a strategic alliance with the Livingston Group, headed by former congressman Bob Livingston and has since developed other strategic alliances with other lobbying firms to offer a range of services both in Washington and in the firm's other markets.
