LAFAYETTE, La.—Jones Walker is pleased to announce that partner Ian A. Macdonald was appointed Chair of the United Way of Acadiana's 2014 Capital Campaign.  United Way of Acadiana advances the common good by mobilizing communities to address people's needs, and works to create lasting change by focusing on the building blocks of a good life: education, earnings, and essentials.

Mr. Macdonald is a partner and the Head of the Lafayette office of Jones Walker.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of general litigation, including insurance defense, health care, and labor & employment matters.  He represents national insurance companies, national retailers, oil and gas companies and construction companies.  During his extensive career, he has tried more than 250 cases, both jury and non-jury, and has argued in front of the Louisiana Supreme Court on numerous occasions.
